Should I Be Freaking Out Like I Am?

Tomorrow makes it 3 weeks out for me. Since my surgery, I've only lost 7 pounds!!!?? Total since preop is about 24 pounds. How come it isn't coming off so quickly for me like everyone else it seems??

I'm following the diet, trying to get all my Protein and Water in, walking as much as I can ( my feet swelled and its painful). I feel like I'm doing everything right. But it's not working!! Any advice would be appreciated.

Hi Whitney. I think most people are posting weight loss that INCLUDES the preop time as well. You're only 2 weeks out! Add the 7 to whatever you lost prior to the surgery. 7 is amazing in 2 weeks!

Don't be depressed.... take it easy on yourself - your body is still heaving from the surgery... weight yourself once a week and be easy on yourself.. make sure you limit the juices (full of sugar)

Tell them it's rude to ask. Tell them the only question allowed is: "How are you feeling?"
