Sleeved Yesterday..

And was doing great yesterday...walked a lot, etc...they didn't let me have any liquids or ice chips until after my leak test today...and honestly, after the nasty stuff I had to drink for that, I didn't want to...I came home and had about 2 oz of a clear protien drink and 2oz water I have tried to walk but am more sore today and just want to rest. Is it okay to start fresh tomorrow?

I think immediately after surgery, rest would be first and foremost, protein and liquids next and exercise/walking when you have the energy and feel well enough to do it. Don't push your body to do something it's not ready for. Take care of yourself....the best is yet to come! Congrats! (Mine is 2 weeks from Friday.)

Walking keeps the blood flowing and its important to not get a clot . You also displace the gas that will in turn give you pain relief. Best wishes ! Let us know how you are !
