Hi guys! I am new to this site. Just banded on September 19th by Dr. Spivak in Houston. So far this has been a mysterious yet marvelous experience. I just wanted to thank you for having such an organized and informative site. I am quite a ways away from Houston and so have found this site to be one of my first go-to places when I am confused or curious about what is happening. Again, thanks!

Have you found your september 2006 bandsters thread? It is where you share your experience with people in the exact same phase that you are going through. I found my August Bandsters to be irreplacable. There are over 110 of us in August 2006 alone.

The best feature I found on this site is the "search". It is in the middle of the blue navigation bar on top. I just had a crisis myself yesterday and the info I found was priceless to help my situation.

Hi Lisalee and welcome to LBT! I completely understand your sentiments. LBT has guided me through my decision to get the lapband, the pre-op diet, the surgery, the post-op diet and life with the band. Everyone here is very supportive.
