Drinking W/meals

although i read everywhere on this site that says NOT to drink 30 min prior to eating and 30 min after...I finally called my surgeon to ask - as he never said that was a must for me - it's hard enough to even remember to eat something every few hours as I am just never hungry - but I still drink a little with my meals to help with the digestion. Surgeon says that's fine, he said mainly they use this rule to assist those people who are always hungry to keep their stomachs full longer. Since I'm not having any hunger issues - it's fine to sip with my meals. I only eat 3-4 oz of meat at my meals - so i know i'm not over eating and I can still finish 3-4 ozs of meat even when I drink - it's not taking up that much of valued real estate in there.

just wondered if anyone else out there drinks a bit when they eat?

I will usually take 2-3 sips of Water. One in the beginning, and a few at the end. Nothing more. I feel like my mouth gets dry if I don't. :-)
