Get out?! Fighting nursing staff? That definitely needs to be reported to hospital admin. You are there to heal, very rude and stress enducing for them to do that in earshot of patients! You will feel better once your settled in back home. Every day I feel better, except for a minor setback returning to work too soon this past Monday. Resting again until returning next Monday. But I'm not hungry and pain is manageable -I also had hernia repair which is causing me the most discomfort. Good luck!

I am also post day3. Pain is manageable, but the gurgling is driving me mad! LOL I also had a hiatal hernia repair and seems to be what is most uncomfortable.

Yeah, the darn hernia! I actually have 3 hernias in total, he could only repair the hiatal during sleeve. Fun-I get to have the 2 others repaired after I lose 100 pounds-can't wait!  I'm thankful though that we discovered all these hernias-I would move a certain way and feel something pull, spasm, etc. -painful yet momentary. I just thought these pains now and then was due to my bad back and weak core! I wish I hadnt had the hernia repair-I think I would be feeling so much better than I do now. Aggravating my stomach muscles by returning to work to soon on Monday set me back. Taking vicodin again when I was on Tylenol! Oh well, it is what it is! My advice to anyone else would be, one procedure at a time! I feel like such a failure going back to work for one day, and now I'm back on pain meds! As Winnie the Pooh says, "Oh bother!!"
