It was very hard, I found that timing myself was good, I sipped every two minutes, it finally got better. Some find warm water good, I found that the cold water went down better. Remember everything is still sore.

spasms can be from not enough fluid intake

I put a 1oz shot glass beside me with a bottle of water and every 15min a had to get down one shot. Worked like a charm. Them I quickly advanced to a 2oz shot glass. Did this for the first 2 weeks. And cold water worked best for me. But some find warm is better.

Good luck it gets better every day. I'm 3.4 weeks out now and drinking is good, now to work on different foods.
