Head Hunger

On day 3 of 13 day shake only pre op diet. I was wondering how to determine what is "head hunger" and really being hungry. I am starving and I know that I am hungry but I'm trying to tell myself its not real. I have an awful headache, my stomach is growling, and I am so so so sleepy (no energy). Any suggestions getting through this?

Can you drink another protein shake. Drink some more water and keep yourself busy. This will pass, the HA is most likely stress related and low intake of carbs. This is just my opinion, I am not a medical doctor. :)

I am on Day 10 of the 2 week liquid protein diet...some days are harder than others...some days, I really don't mind...others, I could eat my dogs hind leg... Are you allowed popsicles? They really help me a lot...I don't like sugar free jello, but I have popsicles and chicken broth along with my shakes and that helps me feel sated. And lots and lots of water! Good luck!
