I just had 1/2 C of Wendy's Chili with 2 saltines. Totally filled me up.

My mouth wants more. I'm glad I'm learning to listen to my stomach instead of my mouth......

I had turkey chili tonight. I had probably 3-4 oz of it before my tummy said that's enough. How fast did you eat? Something like chili or Soup you'll get more down if you eat fast, I bet.

I was sleeved 9/5, I ate 8 oz of split pea Soup for lunch. No crackers. I was full afterwards but not overly.

How far out are you?

My surgery was on 9/10. I purposely ate fairly slowly - I didn't want to eat more than 1/2 C (4 oz). Wendy's chili does have a lot of liquid though so it probably wouldn't have been a big deal to have had more if I really wanted it. When I make homemade chili it's very dense so I think I'll fill up on less of it.

Wendy's small chili is a 1 C serving so now I have lunch ready for tomorrow too :)

Is ounces like a cup, or ounces like the weight? I don't know how much that is LOL. But I can eat a whole small bowl of chili, no probs. Could eat quite a lot compared to others all along, guess I have a bigger sleeve or so? No biggie, still lost weight just fine! I also love chili. :)

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
