Nyquil

I have a terrible cold and NyQuil is usually the best remedy for me. But I don't know if I'm allowed and hate to call my dr on a Friday evening. I'm 6 weeks post op!

So what can I take? My head is so stuffed, and I have a headache

Years ago my Dad passed in his sleep of a massive heartattack :(. First thing the Emt guys asked was "did he take Nyquil" we said NO. I asked why? EMT, replied anyone that has it in their medicine cabinet throw it away it slows your heart down. Just thought I would throw this info out there. Haven't used it since.
