Protein Drinks Make Me Hungry!

I did a search but I didn't see that anyone else has this problem. Every time I drink a shake, especially a chocolate one (syntax, unjury) I suddenly feel like I'm starving! The Chike doesn't seem to, but it seems like it's too high in calories. Anyone else had this problem and found a way to overcome it? Right now I'm just putting unflavored in my crystal light which doesn't seem to trigger me.

Really? They just make me (want to ) hurl.

I'm 5 months post op and I was still drinking at least 1 shake every day because I like them and they were satisfying. But it was getting harder and harder to stay under my calorie limit. So I gave them up for a while and instantly noticed I was having no problem staying under my calories. I guess they were a trigger for me.

That's what's weird. I don't like them. I force myself to drink them to get the protein in, but then I crave chocolate and other sweets.

This happens to me too. I thought it was head hunger. I am 10 days away from surgery and I have struggled because I feel more hungry after having a shake vs just having a bowl of broth. Also get the hiccups more than ever ... Weird!
