  1. Today marks 5 months post op. I have lost 62 lbs. I feel great and I have so much energy. I love my sleeve! First time posting picks on here...
  2. I just started couch to 5k ...I hope it helps me get to my final goal.
  3. Congrats! I am 14lb away from onederland myself ... and those 14lbs seem to be the hardest too loose ...so kudos to you...keep up the great work.
  4. Before my wls I also wondered what to tell people. In the end only my husband & parents know. Now that I have lost a noticable difference and people ask me about my weight loss I tell them I changed the way I eat, I exercise, I don't drink soda all of which are true. Telling people is a personal choice...I don't regret my decision not tell cause at the end of the day its not anyones business.
  5. I confess that I only told my husband & my parents I had surgery in Oct I am 14 lbs away from being under 200 lbs I have been eatting 4 mini reeses pb cups a day. I never keep track of my protein intake. I constantly worry about stretching my stomach. It bothers me that my husband can't keep his hands off of me...he has never been so affectionate. I am worried my weight loss has unleashed the inner b***h that was hidden by fat and silenced by food. Lastly I am so thankful that I took a chance even if I didn't loose another pound I would be satisfied with where I am today.
  6. Congrats! Thanks for the inspiration!
  7. I had surgery on October 19th which is a Friday I was out of work for a week and went back to my desk job the following Monday. Although I work a sedentary desk job I still wish I had taken an extra week off. The week I went back to work I was very tired .... I would work then come home and go straight to bed. Just listen to your body take your time and heal . Best of luck to you.
  8. Sleeved 10/19 lost 34 lbs but for the last week & 1/2 not a single pound in fact I loose 2 oz then the next day gain it back and I am so frustrated. At this point I feel like this is all I am going to lose. I drink my water & get my protein so guess its time to chuck the dang scale. I feel great though and I am thankful I went thru with surgery. Even if it's only 34 lbs I am no longer on blood pressure meds so frustrated but also very thankful
  9. Mona Sleeve ... Its a piece of art but mostly cause its very noisy
  10. I was sleeved the 19th. So far I have lost 20 pounds. My family has already begun complainting on my shrinking body. I feel great but I am still on liquids until 11/5... most nights I dream of food. I can't wait for the next stage. I am going back to work on Monday i am interested to see how I feel it's a desk job not to taxing but I will miss my afternoon nap.
  11. Thinking of you who are getting sleeved today. Wishing you a speedy recovery
  12. I am excited mine is the 19th! I can't believe I am so close. Good luck to you. Keep us posted on how you are doing.
  13. I am psbuttahfly. I am having surgery the 19th. I have been on liquids since last Friday. I would love to make some friends and compare notes. Thank you!
  14. This happens to me too. I thought it was head hunger. I am 10 days away from surgery and I have struggled because I feel more hungry after having a shake vs just having a bowl of broth. Also get the hiccups more than ever ... Weird!
  15. I start my 2 liquid diet tomorrow. I so appreciate Mina's advice... it is just what I needed to read and I will prolly re-read to assure myself. Thank you!
  16. October 19th! I am excited, nervous & scared.
