When Is It Ok To Take Chewable Calcium?

I'm 3 weeks post op and I'm nervous about taking those big calcium pills, wondering at what point did your doctor say you could start taking the chewables? I have this weird vision of them getting stuck...

My doctor just cleared me for them at 6 wks. Check with ur doc.

They were on my plan to start for puree week, which started on day 9

This is a good question. Of course, go by what YOUR Dr requires and maybe consider gummies.... Chewables are good too. My nut told me that sometimes patients like the gummy things because it feels like a little treat and may make it a bit more enjoyable. Quite a few things we need come in the gummy version. :)
