I've just joined this site and have been reading in hopes of finding some support. I don't feel that this is real for me; I mean I don't feel like my life will ever change. Is that me just doubting that I can do this?? Have not met my surgeon yet, coming up next week.

I'm sure you've read this all over this site: Having the sleeve done was one of the best choices of my life. The physical and emotional transformation in just under three months has been phenomenal for me and the best is yet to come!

Stick with it, talk to people here, join a support group, do your research/homework, prep your cupboards for post-op, and you'll be doing the happy dance before you know it! All the best to you!
