Dumping syndrome was mentioned as a potential complication of the gastric sleeve; however, I have not seen any posts related to it (although I am really new to this site). Has anyone experienced this?

If I'm not mistaken, dumping syndrome is more done by those who had the gastric bypass. I haven't had any problems with that nor have I read that anyone else has.

I've seen a thread about this on here and I believe some ppl have it but I think it was due to being lactose which I seen many ppl on this site mention it one time or another

I have experienced this twice. Once after I ate "moist" bbq brisket; the other time after eating a full sugar slushie. Both times it was a great reminder to stop eating things I shouldn't.

The results were extreme diarrhea and cramping for a couple of hours. I was really uncomfortable. It can happen with the sleeve, but I think it is from eating very high sugar or very high fat in foods.

I'm back on the bandwagon, no "moist" bbq...
