Hey all, has anyone purchased individual health insurance and been successfully approved (after 6mo nut classes and pre op testing). I live in new jersey, and will be purchasing horizon plan. Im just scared because its individual and not *** i wont get approved.

Hello I know in the state of ohio when a friend of mine was trying to find insurance back in 2010 she couldn't find any that would pay for the surgery not sure about NJ hopefully someone in your state can help u. Not sure but maybe if you google u can find something. Good Luck

I just went to a seminar at a hospital nearby, hoping the insurance person could help me find some insurance. She told me about www.pcip.gov.
