I was so fatigued and didn't do anything much while on the shakes

Yes it's torture. Don't go to do your pre surgery weigh in at lunch time. On of the ladies was heating up her broccoli and I could have attacked her for it!

How ate things going for you? Im not doing well, I'm hungry and can't get these shakes down anymoreb

Hang in there!! You can do it!!

I can't imagine... My preop was two shakes and one small low carb meal a day for one week. Also, raw veggies were free when I was too hungry

My preop was only a week I got lucky but it was 4 to 5 shakes (HMR 800) for 7 days. I felt so drained

Mine is 2 weeks. 5 shakes a day. Starts April 22nd.

Has anyone used a dr. in Jonesboro? I have a friend who lives in Paragould and would like to have this surgery.

I used Dr. Jones at NEA Baptist in Jonesboro. I love his entire staff and the hospital has awesome resources and support group. I'm seven weeks out and everything has gone wonderfully.

Can't remember if I've posted yet or not. I live in Conway. I was sleeve by dr Mark Gibbs, Baptist, 6/4/10. Paid 250 to Dr and 300 to hospital. Great results. Have lost 110 total. 3 1/2 years out.

I'm in Greenwood. Sleeved 11/11/13 by Dr Travis Goodnight and have had great results.

I am in jonesboro and using Dr. MacAlexander on 1/27/14. Has anyone else here seen him?

My husband used McAlexander and I was planning to but he stopped doing bariatric surgery at that point. I loved Pam (the coordinator) as well. He did another surgery for me though and I really like him. And I would go to St Bernard's before NEA any day...my experience there was horrible.

I am from Little Rock. Sleeved on April 23 by Dr Gibbs. Down 75 pounds so far

I was searching for people in Arkansas and found your post. I too am having the sleeve February 26 by Dr. Gibbs. How are you doing now?

I would like to hear from any sleevers in the area. My surgery is February 26, Dr. Mark Gibbs in little rock. Getting nervous... Start 2 week pre-op tomorrow.

I was sleeved with Dr Gibbs 6/4/10. 110 pounds down3 1/2 years later. Love Dr Gibbs but not much support other than office visits. Of course, I was one of first VSGs for him. Might be different now. I still see him annually and like him a lot!
