Probably not, try miso soup. What became my rule of thumb was if it tastes "good question it"!

funny you should ask...I was just at a pre-surgery meeting last night...and they said, YES pre and post op... low sodium broth, drop in a scrambled up egg when boiling, add garlic, green onions etc if you'd like... but, it's always best to check with YOUR doctor... good luck

That sounds good. I'm an addict, right away was thinking order in Chinese food!

I was told not to eat the egg in it. I can eat the broth, but not the egg or veggies. I just strained it.

I am 5 days post op and I did have egg drop soup today! !! Yummy I didnt eat a lot of egg but I chewed to it was a paste. No issues went down fine. I was wondering if it was ok too, I just went for it!!
