Will I always be either constipated or have diarrhea after the sleeve.....I heard that's what happens you will never be "normal" again...and now I'm sad lol

I'm normal. It's a new normal, but it's normal in that I don't have diarrhea or constipation...it's new cuz now it's smaller and more ladylike. lol

I can't obviously speak for the masses, but I have not had that issue. I suffered from constipation the first week after surgery (still on pain meds and that can cause that) and after that broke, I've gone at least every other day and it has been normal and I'm hoping that continues to be the case. What are you eating?

I am four months out and have found that for the most part my bowel movements are pretty normal again. However, I do not always go once a day like I used to. In the beginning, when I was on liquid only, I had diarrhea. Then I went through a brief period of time where I was constipated, but now most of the time things are normal. I wouldn't worry too much about it.

Mrs Lawson always keep in mind: everybody is different but I did not have a BM until 7 days after surgery but ever since that time I have been fine.
