Well here I am...I am new to the forum talk but am finding it very helpful. A lot of negative comments from friends and co-workers so this is very helpful. I am super excited about the procedure..after loosing my mom last year I am ready for a new and healthy me. I will definitely keep posted about the journey! Any advice on pre-op would be great...

Welcome. I've only received 2 neg comments and I figure my health is more important than their opinions. I cannot wait until the 12th for my surgery. Got my shopping finished and am packed and ready to go. These next 3 weeks of waiting are going to go fast I keep telling myself.

No, have not gotten any feedback. However, good to hear your co-workers did well with him. I just finished my stress test on Thursday & should be able to submit to insurance in a week or so. How long after you submitted to insurance was you surgery scheduled?

I actually had everything in on Wednesday and they called two days later and gave me October 16th but when I went to my nutritional class that following Tuesday, Dr sabir asked me would I be willing to change my date to October 9th and I did!!!

Yes it was very informative, it lasted two hours..the pre op diet is only for one week
