Hello Fellow Oregon Sleevers!

Hello fellow Oregon sleevers!! So glad you joined this group! I was sleeved 2 weeks ago and have lost a total of 20 lbs so far including my preop diet of 6 days... Pretty exciting! I have had no complications with the exception of a few nuances here and there..... especially the one my daughter calls the "deer in headlight syndrome" after you eat something to fast and your eyes bug out and you can't talk for 5 minutes because your new tummy can't digest it that quickly!! So I was thinking about maybe starting a once a month meetup where we can all meet, chat, and support each other?!? We can maybe even do an activity?! Let me know if anyone's interested!

Where in Oregon do you live? I'm on the north coast.

I'm in Portland. Little nervous about all of this. Waiting for insurance, should know in a couple of weeks. Eep!!

How your surgeon? Mine is Emma Patterson.

Hi...I also had the amazing Dr.Emma Patterson. I had a bad experience with legacy weight and diabetes inst. And switched to Patterson. I am 13 days post op. I live in Oregon City and things are good so far. Have a happy New year.

Wow. That is awesome!! I'm looking forward to the results, for sure. I have an arthritic knee that I am hoping will improve a lot with this.

My aches and pain have gone with the 65 pounds so far:-)
