Don't Eat Fish...help!

I am now only on full liquids, but just preparing for when I am on soft foods. Since I don't eat ANY seafood, what is the suggestion? I am just thinking wayyyyy ahead, lol. Maybe my tastebuds will change & I will like it. Lol. Thanks y'all! Love this site & the great people I've met on here. Such great suggestions, help, and encouragement.

Eggs. Finely ground chili. Purreed chicken. Lots of protein there.

  • I don't know if you've tried Boca brand patties. They are vegatarian alternative for meat, it's basically soy and packed with protein. It doesn't taste bad either not delicious but definatly not bad.

Egg was not pleasant for me!

If you don’t like fish because its fishy tasting then get things like cod they have less of a fishy taste compared to say mackerel or sardines you might be able to endure cod in some sort of sauce or seasonings to mask the taste.

I like most fish but I hate salmon bah nasty stuff!

So you might find a fish you can deal with and cook it all kinds of ways to make it interesting.

I don't eat any seafood. Blah! Yuck! Lol.

I used to love mashed potatoes with chicken gravy - I bought canned light and dark chicken and mixed it in chicken gravy which is very low calorie, the chicken itself is high Protein. For this stage of eating, it definately works.

Crock pot meals are great for this stage so you can get all kinds of cuts of meats and poultry really tender with veggies.

Good Luck!!

That's what I was thinking of doing, using the crockpot to make the meats!
