1St Medically Supervised Dr. Visit Uhc

So today was the first of my 6 consecutive months of Physician supervised weight loss visits. I have a long way to go, but, I am determined and plan to use this time to prepare myself for the drastic life style change to come....... (once approved of course) #wishmeluck

Once I made the decision to have surgery (I didn't know which one at the time), I did nothing but research. I researched and read and asked and talked about it. I decided to be sleeved when I talked to the surgeon.

Since then I have done nothing but research, ask and read. Now that I start my liquid diet tomorrow, I'm comfortable with the knowledge I have.

No question is stupid if you don't know the answer. Ask.

Good luck!

Thank you! I have been doing the same thing... LOL. I have a portfolio dedicated to my surgery with notes and questions and print outs. I have a really nice surgeon. He was so easy to talk to. I talked to my UHC bariatric nurse today, she was also nice and very helpful. Things are looking good. Just hope the time flies,! Good luck to you as well! Let me know how it goes...
