Dizziness!

So I'm 12 days post op and yesterday my friend and I took our kids to the Zoo. It was a really hot day and I did bring water to sip on throughout the day but....I became dizzy and my surroundings started to darken and look fuzzy. I almost fell over and had to sit down immediately. We did walk around for 3hrs in the sun but this has never happened to me before. Was this caused by dehydration? I woke up today a lil dizzy so I drank Gatorade and water all day today and now I feel better! I hope this never happens again. That was scary! Hope all my fellow sleevers are doing well! Best wishes:-)

Sounds like dehydration to me. If u are out in the heat and sweat then u must compensate for the loss of water in your body and drink more. I went through the same thing in the beginning. Just be sure to sip, sip, sip. Good luck and im glad your feeling better.

Dehydration, lack of calories and protein, and all of the changes your body is going through. Be ire to drink a protein shake before doing that again and tank up on fluids. It helped me! That feels horrible!
