Hi everyone. I just got my surgery date of Oct 9th. Any surgery day buddies out there? I'm scared and excited. It doesn't seem real right now because its taken so long to get an actual date. I decided to pursue this about a year ago and because of my insurance requirements it has taken a while. But I am scheduled and excited for this tool that will help me to finally be the person I am inside.

I'm Oct 9th aswell, super excited!!! 17 days to go!!!! I have started a strict pre pre op diet as I feel I might as well get in the swing of things, it is tough but I getting through it, I've lost 10lbs so far, yay me!!!!

Anyone around the 8/9th being sleeved in Mexico?

I feel the same way, scared to death if I can do it but no turning back now, I'm ready to live my life without be ashamed of how I look!!

How are you all doing? I had my egd done today and it really wasn't a big deal. I was tired from the anesthsia but managed to take a nap and then headed to work. I was a bit off my game but mostly ok. Pre-op education is next week then liquids. Oh my gosh. Its happening so quickly now!

I am starting my pre-op diet a little early-as in tomorrow! 17 days and counting. I am still waiting on my insurance approval but expect to have it next week. I think I am "nesting" to get ready for this!

Just got my insurance clearance and all other clearances today! This is getting very real!

I'm having my sleeve tomorrow too. For those of you going through it too, good luck! I wish quick healing and no complications for each of you. It's going to be a great day for a reset of my life! See you all on the loser's bench!

Good morning to my october 9thers! I wish everyone a successful surgery, and a speedy recovery. I'm praying for us all, in hopes that God will watch over us, as well as our doctors and surgeons, so that we have a successful procedure. I have to be at the hospital at 9:30, and i will provide updates.

I'm home everyone! Came home on the 10th, Surgery was a success, and all week i have been tired. I just am trying to focus on getting my water in. I've been sleeping so much and it's so hard to get the water in, but I've been up today, drinking my water and doing a lot of walking, so it's helping.
