Danon light and fit Greek yogurt 3:00 Protein Shake 6:30 2 oz chicken, a bit of mashed potato and cream od chicken Soup puréed Dessert will be Jello pudding with Protein powder It's about 600-700 calories
  3. I really like the syntrax protein shakes and the nectar. I am lactose intolerant and one of my favorite ways to get protein is to make sugar free jello pudding with Lactaid milk. Then I add isopure vanilla protein powder and I think they are really yummy. Sometimes I add a teaspoon of sugar free cool whip and I feel like I am having dessert!
  4. I was sleeved 10/9 as well . I am just starting to itch some. There is one incision spot that is pretty painful, but don't feel the other 4. No BMW, but gassy. I can't wait to feel more normal.
  5. Okay, you're younger than me by three months! :/. So glad that you are doing well, it is really inspiring!
  6. Wow chad, way to go on the walking! I was sleeved 10/9 and still have a lot of pain. I can barely get out of bed and walk down the hall three times. I guess we have different experiences and you do look much younger than me! I am feeling better every day and I know that I will get there!
  7. I had my surgery 10/9. I can relate to Tiffani as I have had a lot of pain. :/ I think most of it is from where the drain is. I seem to tolerate liquids well and the gasx really helped. They wouldn't let me have the gasx in the hospital. I also used a binder when I got home whichmwasmhelpful! Thank goodness for this forum! I also have headaches that I am sure is from medication, but for now I need the stronger meds. Looking forward to feeling better!
  8. Mine is October 9th as well. I have been feeling super excited, but a little nervous too! Ot is so nice to feel hopeful about the future!
  9. Whoops, "sent" before I was finished! I have come to realize that if I've restricted my diet and not losing weight, it explains how I was gaining so much weight with a normal diet , some bad choices and a few sweets. I am encouraged that any weight lost will stay lost and above all, I have hope. My weight loss may be slower, but much more enjoyable to watch it go down than up!! Take heart, you will be successful! Slow and steady wins the race as well, and you just might have a pleasant surprise!
  10. I have been on the pre-op diet at under 1000 calories and haven't lost much weight. However, it just makes me realize hoe important this surgery is for me.
  11. My surgery I'd the 9th on a tuesday. I am taking that week and the next week off. I am starting to get kind of excited! My NUT said that sometimes people could go back after a week, but that seems way too soon! A month would be nice!
  12. Hi! I am having my surgery October 9, and I am currently 260 lbs, I am worried about the liqid diet that I start 4 weeks prior! I also am very concerned as I am going in on Tuesday for an MRI to see if I have multiple sclerosis. If I do, I hope and pray that it doesn't mess up my surgery date'! I am really excited about having a new and healthier life with the weight off! Good luck to all on this brand new beginning!
