Liquid Diet

I start my liquid diet one wk fr/ today!! I'm super excited because that means I'm closer to my surgery date 9.20.12. On another note I'm nervous that I will fail @ liquids. Does anyone have any tricks, pointers or words of encouragement???

I did horrible on my pre surgical diet but the doc said my liver looked great

Keep remembering your goal, which isn't the surgery but the benefits from the surgery. Also, keep reminding yourself that pre-op is for only a short period of time. You can do this.

I am on day 4 of my pre-op diet. I keep reminding myself that I am worth everyting that it requires to have surgery! I have not been hungry suprisingly enough and yesterday I did have a moment when I realized it was HEAD HUNGER! You will make it and just remember nothing tastes as good as being healthy and THIN is going to feel.

Good luck YOU CAN DO IT

TY...TY:-) I know I can do this & actually have already eliminated carbonated beverages & I drink one light muscle milk as a meal daily. I'm just anxious to get this new way of life on the road.
