1 Week Post Op - Hungry.....

I'm one week post op today, and lost 9lbs this week. However, today seems like a turning point in hunger. I have been starving all day ( tummy growling hunger). I'm feeling concerned about the "feeling full" aspect. When I'm turned loose on regular food, will I really get that "full" satisfied feeling? Right now I feel like the bottomless pit.

I'm 3 weeks out today and I've just started feeling hungry but only if I haven't eaten. Make sure your getting your water and protein in. The protein will help with hunger. 9 pounds is great! I'm down 22 lbs today but I was at a stall for about 4 days.

You will feel full once you start on the full liquids and puree! Matter of fact my stomach tells me if you eat another bite "you will be sorry". I only eat 4oz 3 times a day and I have 2 snacks but nothing over 100 calories. I measure out the for oz and when I get down to the last bite or 2 I feel a huge difference in my stomach.

Have you went to your 1 week post op yet? If not, write all these questions down because when I went for mine, I for got everything I wanted to ask about cause I was so excited about the weight that I had lost.

Anyway, keep me posted I'd like to hear how your doing since our surgery dates were so close.

Good luck.
