2 Weeks Doctor Stopped Cardio

I lost 19 pounds so. I'm two weeks post op. doctor said I was loosing to fast. He stopped my cardio and told me to lift 3x a week and do cardio once a week. A little sad cause I thought I was doing good but he said he doesn't want me to loose my muscle. I am a very tall athletic female. Has anyone else been told this?

I was told no cardio at my one month check up. I started lifting weights and doing a DVD program focusing on muscle.
