How far out are you?

It's very normal for it to start falling out around 4-5 months post op. The good news is that it is also temporary. You might have greater than normal hair loss for up to six months or so, but then it should stop and new hair should grow in it's place.

I am 7 mo postop and mine started falling out about 5 mo. It was recommended by my Dr to take Biotin. Works great.

Lack of protein. Basically, your body is focussing on metabolising what energy (food) you are giving it and this is taking all the focus and diverting your body from non essentials like nails and hair. Increase your protein.
