Hello everyone! my name is angel and im new to vst. well a little info about myself im 23 and a half years old (yes i said half, lol my birthday is in september) i weigh 260 pounds and im pretty darn short. i decided to get the sleeve because i recently found out that i was prediabetic. its hereditary and i dont want that. i went for my consult august 11 and my doctor said he thinks i would be a great candidate for the sleeve. that put a huge smile upon my face! i have about 3 more visits to go which im excited about i have a few people that are supportive of it (such as my family), then there are my "friends". When i told them i decided to go ahead with the surgery they went ballistic! "no, dont do that, you're gonna look funny, after all these years, we are use to u being this size" well ive had enough of being this size all of my life. im changing for ME and MY HEALTH! i cant wait to be sleeved
