My surgery was yesterday, and all things considered I'm doing fantastic! I, unfortunately, had a horrible case of nausea and dizzy spells. 2/4 times they had me get up I fainted. On the bright side my pain level is fantastic! I was so worried I wasn't going to be able to handle it. I was such a wuss after my gall bladder surgery. My nursing staff here have been absolutely amazing.
Has anyone else received a pillow from the hospital that allow your visitors and staff to sign while you are here and then take it home?? I was pleasantly surprised and thought it was a great idea!
I am also a breast feeding mom and everyone, including my surgeon, have been a great help allowing me to still nurse and making sure I wasn't having any problems. I must say this has been the most pleasant experience I could have imagined and I'm not going to deny it has made me a little emotional. It has also helped coming on here throughout the night seeing that not ye only one that has gone through some of the things I experienced in the past 24 hours and it has helped me a lot. So a big thank you!!
