Eating Discomfort

I am almost 4 months post-op and for the most part I am doing well. However, I have started having trouble eating, even things that were going down fine. I have moderate pain and discomfort after eating. The pain is from below my sternum to my belly button. Any ideas or has anyone else had this trouble? I take prilosec everyday. Even water hurts mildly.

This sounds like something you need to ask your doctor about. Four months out you should not have that kind of pain. Are you able to have regular bowel movments?

Call your surgeon, to make sure you haven't developed a stricture. Be well!

Could be a structure. Sounds like what my mom had. Easy enough to fix though.
