Short Term Disability?

Just wanted to see if anyone else's surgery was approved under the short term disability? I am at that cross in my path have to submit all my information tomorrow.

    there is really not an approval process for STD - just as long as the doctor fills out the paperwork you are good to go.

If u having a hernia repaired at the same time u could use that as your disability and leave the wls out of it .. I think that's what I'll do when the time come

Mine was approved with no problems, Your Dr. signs off on the forms. I am having my gallbladder out at the same time and they put that as secondary. I even asked for a little extra time off. I will be off 3 weeks. No problems!

I started mine about 1 1/2 months early on paperwork, just incase they needed more info.
