Surgery Date August 27Th

I was denied 2 times and finally approved to get my sleeve! I have do many emotions balled up inside right now! But one question ?? How long are you in the hospital if everything goes good? So I can make plans for my children. I've waited for over a year to get this done and I'm like 2 weeks away :)

I'm on the 27th too! I will finish my one week low fat diet on sunday and start my full liquid diet monday. My doctor says one night in hospital and i should be released around noon the next day. I am kinda worried about being able to drink enough. Actually considered trying to convince them to let me keep my IV and some extra fluids just in case. The nurse in me wants to take the easy way out. =) After surgery.. my NUT handbook says clear liquid -1 week... full liquid... one week... then mushies but my doctors book says I can try full liquid on the 3rd day and mushies within a week. I think I'm gonna stick with liquids based on everything I've learned on here.

I am SO ready!
