Pre-Op Diets

Hi Everyone!

Newbie here, so if this was previoulsy discussed, just point me in the right direction. :-)

My surgery date is August 21. On Tuesday I started the 14 day liquid diet. But I'm allowed 4 oz lean meat and a low carb veggie once a day. In reading other posts, are you guys on 100% liquids?

Thanks!

I'm allowed much more freedom. I am instructed to drink a ton of water, lots of protein, and to keep carbs to less than 50 grams a day.

I would have liquid preop diet.

but I spoke with another women who had the surgery and she said that her doctor allow her just replace 2 meals with protein shakes and keep one meal with normal food.( with some restrictions)

I'm liquids only. Including broths, jello, Popsicles but I really want lean meat!! I'd kill for it! Lol and my diet is 10 days!
