So I had my sleeve Monday July 23rd. The hospital stay was not bad. However if you have it a OLOL you have to remind them to feed you and sometime remind them to give you your meds. This is typical there. Otherwise my doctor was great and before the surgery the nurse was great. I have had a hard time with the amount of food my body will allow. I could never tell if I had had enough or to much. But I never got sick, so I assume I eating enough. The last two days I have also had a hard time drinking all the protein that is required. But all in all it hasnt a bad experience. I have read a lot of the threads on this app and they have been helpful. Broth, sugar free jello, and yogurt have been most of my meals. I tried grits which didn't bother me and mashed potatoes which went down easily. But I didn't eat either of these until the 6th and 7th day. I have lost 5lbs so far. I am very excited for the future and all the new activities I will be able to do.
