I met with my surgeon this morning and found out I get to have surgery on Aug. 15 and I have to start my skim milk diet on Aug. 1 I really didn't think it would happen this soon. I have had to do the whole 6 month doctor suppervised diet. It's is just hitting my all at once that I start my new life in a few days. I'm so nervous and scared. I know I'm making the right decision I just hope I don't fail in the long run. I was suppose to leave for a trip to Vegas on Aug. 15 but it looks like I'll have to cancel the flight hope they give me some kind of credit. I didn't want anything in my life to be more important then this. I can go back to Vegas later. Wish me luck. Thanks for all the info this website has given me. I feel really ready for everything.

Well talk about baptism by fire. Well congrats on your upcoming procedure. I had to wait like 2-3 months for my date to come, so trust me when I say at least you dont have 2-3 months of anticipation, second doubts, and driving yourself crazy. Good luck.

I was given one week notice and went into panic that it was so close, because I had been thinking it would be about four months. Looking back, I am glad I didn't have much time.

they called me and said your surgery is Next Tues. I lied and said I could not do it until the next week. I too was shocked and scared it happened all too fast... but SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO happy I did it.> as you will be.. best of luck to you, keep us posted Ü

Congrats on having your date! I know it's sudden, but you will be so glad you did it. And, you're right about the trip to Vegas! You will enjoy it more when you can go as a svelte chick!!!
