As soon as you can get them into your grubby little hands! I've never heard of anyone restricting them afterward. ;-)

I'm in Mexico and brought my own. I had one when I came back from surgery, just wondering if I can use them before the leak test?

I would not take anything other than whats given to me by a medical professional before the leak test (or before discharge).

Gas-X is simethicone. You have a lot of options if simethicone is what you're after. Just remember that Gas-X will do NOTHING for the gas pains that come from the CO2. It will only work (and even then it's questionable) on the gas in your digestive tract.

I thought I would want them post surgery but never needed them.
