How Long

How long until I don't have a headache because I cant have caffeine? How long until I eat 1/2 cup of low fat cottage cheese and 1/2 cup of pineapple for breakfast and I feel full until lunch? This pain doesn't seem worth it!!!!! (even though deep down I know it is). I have 2 months until surgery and I'm trying to get things straightened out but its sooooooo hard!

Before my surgery, I was always hungry. i had cut my portion sizes in half and thought I would never get pasted it. After surgery, when I realized that I needed to take a PPI, I also realized I didn't reckonize thirst from hunger, I wasn't hungry. I had a lot of head hunger, but that's to be expected. It will pass and the hard part is being patient and not giving in to the negative thoughts your experiencing. It does get better, you are in the hardest part of the journey. :)

When were you sleeved? The avoidance of caffene is largely (my understanding) due to 1)the foods it is found in and 2) you need to avoid the diuretic nature of the drug until you can get enough fluids.

So as long as you are able to drink enough liquids without pushing your sleeve, AND you arent eating chocolate or drinking sodas and coffee wont kill you, I suggest taking half a caffiene pill - that was recommended to me on my 4th week, as I was trying to keep off coffee for at least my forst 8 weeks (I was having a rough time of it).

However, CHECK WITH YOUR DOCTOR, lol...I don't even play one on TV.

I haven't been sleeved yet. My NUT said to begin the transition of earing healthier and working out. It just doesn't feel like I can do it.
