Can't seem to sleep and have to be at the hospital for 5:30 for my procedure,and have to stay bc the insurance seems to want you to stay at least one night.

Wel it's no wonder you can't sleep. I don't have a date yet. But when I think about having to get in the car and drive when it's time, I can't picture doing it!

But I will. And so will you.

As corny as it sounds, this will be the beginning of a wonderful chapter in your life. Once you get to the hospital,they will be just great with you ,you'll just go with flow and the next thing you know, this time tomarrow, it will be behind you and your new chapter begins! I hope you have a solid support team and use them often.

Hopefully, one day soon I'll be asking you post- op questions. Now say a prayer, ask for peace of heart, and get some rest. Thinking of you...

So well said. How wonderful is this forum. I don't have a date yet buy also am awake thinking about the surgery. Thank you to all the compassionate voices I read on this forum.

You'll need that one night, at least, in the hospital. Congrats on taking this first step for the rest of your life! I remember being so nervous the night before surgery, but so excited as well! I couldn't anticipate the many wonderful ways my life was about to change, and it's been even better than I thought it would be!
