I'm 18 days post op and seem to have more down days than ups. Nothing seems to go right, just want to put on sweats crawl in bed and cry. Hormones? Anyone else have similar issues??

It is a very emotional time, not many things change your life like this surgery, but all the things that do are emotional and stressful. I have read a lot about the hormones because some days I would feel like I could cry over a silly commercial.... What I have found is that when you are losing weight so fast your body is still making enough hormones for your heavier body, but now being lighter you don't have as much body mass to utilize or ciclecultae all the hormones therefore you have an excess just floating around until your body adjusts and regulates your hormones properly again. I felt like I was PMS'ing for a month lol.... good luck =) it will get better
