Post-Op Maintenence Phase

Hi guys! I am currently 2 years out from my surgery date and I've lost 141 lbs. I was wondering if there is anyone out there with about the same timeline I do that has their stuff together. As time goes on, I've become pretty lax with my diet, exercise, etc.

I need to jump back on the bandwagon and have no idea where to start anymore. I have corresponded with my Dr.'s office (my surgery was in Mexico) and all they've said is to maintain a low-calorie, low-carb, low-fat diet. I'm not really the kind of person that can just take that info and run with it, so I was wondering if anyone had the time, it energy for that matter, to help a sister out.

I am looking for meal ideas, eating times, nutritional guidelines, exercise ideas, etc. basically anything you would be willing to share to help get me back on the right track.

Thanks in advance!!

Perhaps you could "start over"? Get yourself ready and clean out your kitchen and get everyone ready to tow the line again, find your sneakers, get the air back in your bike tires... Select a date

Get yourself ready and clean out your kitchen and get everyone ready to tow the line again, find your sneakers, get the air back in your bike tires...

Select a date ans that is your start up date again, and start weaning yourself off your bad habit s- no food funeralsm etc. Make every step go to your new start.

Start relying on liquids a bit more, get off your carbs, and do a mini-fast/pre op diet mix, and then go back to liquids a few days, then mushies - just like you did at first, healthy, protien first, veggies, fruit later...

Great advice!!!
