Drain.....

Okay so I read a few things havnt seen any questions about a drain my question is how long do they leave it and is it unconfterble? ....I'm new btw my sergery is AUG.28th 2012 I'm so excited I start my liquid diet till Aug 16th I'm currently trying to loose 15lbs before the16th dr orders ....

I recommend that you take a safety pin to the hospital so that you can pin the drain to your gown. I didn't and wished I would have! It is better when it doesn't dangle. Also, bring a lanyard so when you take a shower you can hook the drain to the lanyard and put it around your neck so it isn't bouncing off of your legs.

Lol for reals!!! The drain ....its like when u have a cut u accumulate puss and Water, blood so what the drain is it clears all of that out from your insicions n your body to prevent infections ....
