Overfilled, but by how much

I had my fill today. I had been wide open for some time. The tech nearly doubled my capacity taking me from 1cc to 1.6cc. That was at 3:00 and since then I have only been able to swallow (and keep down) about a cup of warmed water. I have produced about four times this volume in saliva, slime, and foam.

I searched and found a helpful post by Alexandra that suggested the OP "wait out" initial overfill symptoms within the first few hours and days of a fill.

I am watching myself for dehydration and have not given up on the sipping. I figure I will call when the office opens tomorrow. It is new Bandland territory for me.

Has anyone else been through this? What did you do?

Thanks peeps. for helping me through my rough spot.

I am so sorry, Morsaille. We have neglected you and should not have!

If you can't keep fluids down - at least 64 oz in 24 hours - you need to call your doctor. I have been over-filled myself and it's no fun when you can't swallow your own spit.

Come back and let us know what the doc said. I promise we won't ignore you next time.

You absolutely need to call today. I would say wait if you weren't foaming..spitting and the headache. You don't want to get dehydrated. Let us know how you are feeling.

I am glad that you didn't wait for us to reply! I hope you are feeling better. Yep, many of us have been through the too-tight to swallow spit. Once there, you never want to go back! Agree?

have him remove .2 -.3 cc's it wil lstill give you the extra .3-.4 cc's above your last fill, having as little as that ammount removed makes the biggest difference. You will still have restriction but be able to get down liquids. if you can not get liquids down you are way too tight. What did the Dr. say when you called him?

I am back! You ladies are so special! THANK YOU!

I was just feeling alone and scared.

They removed .3cc so I have 1.3 now and can swallow. I sucked down a bottle of Water, a Protein shake, some liquid Tylenol ('cause my head was splittin'), and got a nap. I am at 98% now and am so glad I didn't die :drama:

Pretty sure it is my fault for not stirring up the barium. The fluoro was showing restriction of the watery barium juice and not the thick chalky stuff at the bottom of the cup.

Much love to everyone! I am back and have a new found empathy for those who speak out against "aggressive fills". Slow IS the way to go! *shaking finger*
