Fluid Intake After Surgery

Hello everyone! I just had my sleeve done on Tuesday (6/19/2012) I was told to take as much fluids in as I could. What I had today (which is my first full day home) is 1 cup of protien drink 3 sugar free popcicles and a cup of sugar free jello. Is this good to start out on? I just don't want to put too much in there, but I also want to get enough. Thanks for the help!

Whati don't see here is Water. As much water as you can handle. Small sips all day long.

As long as you are sipping there should be no problems. Water almost immediately passes through your stomach to your intestine.

it doesn't sound like you got the minimum of 50 grams of protein in. isopure has a clear liquid drink that has 40 grams in it! i actually am only a week ahead of you and those drinks really helped. when i could finally get that much protein down it really helped. : )
