So, I'm almost ready. I've had everything done, just waiting. I have Blue Cross Blue Shield Federal insurance in North Carolina. I've done my 3 month wait/nutritional stuff, and am just waiting on my doc to fax my psych evaluation so my file can be sent to my insurance!

How long did y'all have to wait to get approval? I know it can very. But I'm so anxious to have a date set!!

Any one else have BCBS Federal? Or how long from the time you had your info submitted did you get approval?

I have BCBS Federal too but I am just getting started. Can you share your experience with the 3 month medical supervised diet. Did they prescribe diet shakes? If so, did BCBS cover the cost? What out of pocket cost have you paid so far?

I have BCBS and I'm in NC. For me it took one week to get approval. Good Luck.

I also have BCBS Federal and I got my approval back in 8 days. It was so fast, I was expecting 30 days since that is what I was originally advised. No problems with them at all.
