  1. Me too! I was sleeved on July 16th, and it's an on and off sharp pain. Inside to the left of my belly button. It's not terrible, but not pleasant.

Does anyone post op eat cereal? I know it's not a great protein source, but I do love a good cup of cereal.
  3. But does anyone else notice that their body odor has changed? My underarms smells different after being sleeved. Probably TMI, but it's just something ive noticed. I mean, I shower like I always have, every day. But my underarms seems to smell a bit funky now. Not cool.
  4. I'm just curious, for those of you who had your sleeves done in Mexico, did youvhave any post op visits? I had my sleeve done in Atlanta, but live about 3 hours away. I missed my post op visit today, and I'm mad at myself for it. And my doctor doesn't have anything open for another month! Which is kind of annoying. Am I ok? What so they look for or do during a post op visit? I'm healing fine, eating fine and feeling fine. But I'm stressed a bit.
  5. It was the first time for me. I took a pre-sleeve sized bite. That won't happen again. For sure!
  6. About eating tiny bites! I'm two weeks out today, and finally about to eat mushy foods. I just took way too big of a bite. And it got stuck and out it came again! Ouch! I got a really weird feeling, and then a bunch of slime came back up. Feeling much better now. But way uncomfortable!!! Learned my lesson.
  7. I didn't have a recliner, but did have a fairly comfortable camping chair that I could sleep in that stretched me out. Sounds strange, but it's a lot like a recliner!
  8. I was sleeved on July 16th, and post op have to do one week clear liquids, second week full liquids like soups and puddings, third week soft purée foods, fourth week more regular foods, but small amount and chew slowly!
  9. I was sleeved on July 16th, and post op have to do one week clear liquids, second week full liquids like soups and puddings, third week soft purée foods, fourth week more regular foods, but small amount and chew slowly!
  10. Anyone have any info or experiences? My new tummy can't quite handle swallowing anything, so I was looking into chewables. Gotta try and protect my hair!
  11. I'm so sorry! I am newly sleeved myself, so I don't have any advice. But I'll pray that you feel better!!
  12. I did call them, and they said it's ok bc I was moving around more. But I've already drained 73cc today, which makes me nervous.
  13. So I'm 8 days out today. So far, the drainage from my drain has decreased since I was sleeved. But yesterday, the amount has increased and today in one draining, it was as much as much first day postoperative. I don't have a fever and I'm not vomiting. But does this mean I have a leak? I'm so stressed. Any advice or experience would be greatly appreciated.
  14. So Im 8 days out, and only today am I having stomach cramps. It's not the same feeling as the gas after surgery. This feels more like lots of knives. And it might be in my intestines. Maybe gas? Like, the gas gas kind? Lol. Not comfortable. Ouch.
  15. I really like Mucsle Milk Light as well. It tastes good, and the powder doesn't feel grainy either, which is nice.
  16. O you guys keep track of how much you take in each day? I have for the past few days, but am wondering if it do-able or helpful the longer into this journey I go?
  17. Oh my heavens... Big Red. I was born in Texas, and I love that stuff!! I've lived in North Carolina the past 20 years, and I'm frhly sleeved. So I miss that too!!!! It's the world's best soda!
  18. I've only been able to sleep on my back too. I was sleeved on Monday. I've had to sleep on the sofa, propped up with a bunch of pillows. I'm hoping that once I get my drain out, I will be able to sleep a bit morning on my side.
  19. That coughing would feel like death! I've had some weird drainage the last few days. And whenever I cough, it hurts so bad!! I'm not even a week out yet. Ouch!
  20. I was sleeved on the 16th, and I'm also struggling with getting all my water and protein. I'm just taking things easy, not stressing and doing what I can.
  21. What is your first week post-op diet? I'm on clear liquids, but so hungry. And finding it hard to feel full. And not discouraged. I'm feeling better day by day, but finding it hard to get my protein in. What are y'all doing or what did y'all do for that?
  22. Yeah, the isopure make me gag.
  23. Sip sip sip and enjoy!
  24. I totally understand! I had a meltdown yesterday. It wasn't pretty. I think for me at least, its hard not having the energy that I want to do what I need. I'm overwhelmed with everything. You are not alone.
