I have just completed the 5th month of the 6 month supervised diet (as req by my insurance)... Problem is, I GAINED weight this month! I am up only 3 pounds from where I started, but now I'm worried that I wont be approved next month! Did anyone else gain weight during the supervised diet, and were u still approved? Please help!

I gained about 5lbs total. I was up and down each month but by the end I was up 5lbs from where I started. I'm approved and scheduled for surgery on the 19th. I think they looked at the whole run with the ups & downs. I think it showed that I really did need more help than just diet and exercise.

My NUT told me that they don't want you to gain a significant amount, but it's okay if you gain a few. Weight fluctuates day to day, anyway.
