ok, so I was sleeved on April 4 and from pre-op diet til now I have lost 39 lbs. I have had absolutely no problems at all. I have been able to eat whatever I want - thats my problem. I feel that I am eating the wrong kind of things. I seem to feel that it is ok because I can't eat as much as I usually did so it is ok to treat myself once a day to something that I normally should not eat. I have continued to loose weight not a ton, but it is still coming off. I am just hungry at times. I will not be able to gain weight back will I if I dont' follow a strick diet plan??
I am so confused about what I should eat and not, they really don't give you many guidelines to follow. I was told to eat @1200 calories a day. I do try and eat my protein first and limit my carbs to 2 meals a day. I have given up on the protein shakes as they now turn my stomach.
I am afraid I am not doing this right - I have no idea what I should eat per day because I can eat pretty much anything, sometimes I feel like I was never sleeved.
I have never thrown up or become sick to my stomach - I have felt really full - a sharp pain in my stomach - like I wished I didn't have that last bite.
Any suggesstions on what a normal diet should consist of. - how many times a day do you eat??
Thanks, you guys have helped me through many a dilema.
