Another Question For Dr Garcia Patients

Does anybody know medications are given after the procedure and how long they have to be taken? I am breastfeeding right now, I plan on pumping and dumping in the hospital, just wondering if it will be ok to resume nursing when I get home.

TIA! :)

It looks like you continue taking the meds for about 5 days after discharge.

I was just discharged yesterday :)

I am 7 days post op, surgery with Dr. Garcia. I stopped taking the pain meds the day I flew home. I took one that morning and have had none ever since I didn't need them. So I took pain meds for 4 days. I feel GREAT=)

Yeah I took one of the pain meds last night & they were disgusting (sublingual) so I haven't taken any more. No need, I feel great other than a little persistent gassiness lol :)
